Although I'm not a big fan of anime I must say that if I ever was to watch some, I'd be happy for it to be something made by you.

Animation was near-perfect even in previous installements of the series, but this one too shows improvement. The increasing complexity of the fight scenes was just icing on a big and tasty cake.

My only complaint would be the story. Most animes following a set concept, a work inspired by them is doomed to have some originality issues as well. While it's nice to see your average superhero mercilessly pounding a helpless villain, we've already seen too many of them unlock their hidden potential in anger/sorrow of losing someone dear to them.

But it was still awesome.

The protagonist doesn't resemble anything I've ever seen, you have to die at least six times before finding out what you have to do and as you said yourself, the collision detection isn't good, too.

:(

Author's Response:

There is an instructions button on the start screen which leads you to the instructions, so you know what to do. Maybe an ingame help tab would be an idea too.

The ideas of a cycle of actions going over and over, a robot building an exact copy of himself in an attempt to gain company and dying in the process, along with the slick animation and the emotional feel make a great movie. The only thing I'd suggest would be using the pen tool instead of brush, since it's easier, smoother looking and more fitting to the no-outline style in general.

I like how everyone's not liking the movie because it doesn't use the premade Krinkels's sprites.
Humour, fluid animation, gore, awesome music. What else do you need, people?

Not appealing to the masses. But certainly cool to me.

While this indeed is different from all the other 'intentionally badly-drawn' cartoons out there, I don't really think it deserves front page, even though it really IS funny.

What I'd suggest, that you should change the style of the different episodes more. This may be funny, but like everything repeated over and over, it gets stale and repetitive quickly.

For example, in the next episode, Jerry could change his manners, somehow (e.g.: He could be a classy English gentleman in one episode and a brutal Norse warrior in other).

But it is your choice, really.

Quality and wacky at the same time, original with the textured fills, funny credits idea and the animation style itself.

Simply all-good.

Milburn Birthday Mayhem

"Awesome."

date: September 5, 2008

The most common flaw I find in most collabs like this one, is one or more submission standing out for being far superior/inferior to the other ones.

This one had none of those. That is one plus.

Another common flaw is an animator overestimating his skills and trying to produce something exceeding his skills.

Again, there were none in this animation. Another plus.

Stylish, well animated, and with a purpose.

End of my smart review. ;)

I was just listening to that damn song.

And it's not only the perfect music choice what makes this flash my favourite Clock Day flash so far.

Awesome.

Another 80's retro style game. Pretty weapons sortiment, awesome sprites and lively-looking world. That's all what's needed for a 5.

Awesome.

So what if MG collab had better graphics? It wasn't that funny apart from few parts. This kept me bursting in laughter throughout the whole thing.

Metal Gear Awesome. Remember that? It had fucking horrible graphics, and was kind of funny. Noone bitched about how bad it was.

And if the reason for the zeros is the porn, then just don't watch it. You can't judge a submission on how YOU like it. You have to judge it on how good it actually was, no matter what you didn't like.

Yes, I am acknowledging other reviews in this one. Ban me if you are a mod.

P.S.: This is aewsoem.
